Thanks Marie . . . I didn't fully understand the process and after looking at the kiddiegarden site, I realized that putting soil up the stem of the potato plant as it grows encourages more tubers to form along the stem thus increasing your crop in the small space. The simplest explanations work for me it seems since I am such a newbie at this! LOL Thanks for your efforts in answering my questions and increase my understanding. Blessings!
