Guinea Hogs Empty Guinea Hogs

came across these on craigslist. They only get 200 to 300 lbs a piece and are smaller for the back yard homesteader.

We had considered pot bellied pigs, but these may actually work better for us.

I saw them and had to post it. They are a liitle more expensive but if you get a female and a male then you can sell them for $300 a piece too. I thought they were so cute I don't think I could handle eating them. Iwould get attached to them lol

I don't think I'd have a problem eating them, although I'd have to keep one for a pet for Ty. He's been begging for a pig, but as he says, "Not to eat though mommy." LOL

I will see what other info I can find on them. I do not think they would be any diffrent that any other pig but smaller. We had a guy get a pig from us this weekend that has a wild hog at his house. He raises them for a 15000 acer farm/hunting preserve in arkansa. He said they were hard to keep in sometimes exspecially the boars. He is getting a boar from our next litter to bred them to to tame them down just a little.

Thanks for the link. I doubt we'll get any pigs this year, but hopefully next year we'll get either the guinea or the pot bellied.
