I totally forgot I ordered them when I ordered the chickens and ducks. They were suppost to be shipped the 1st. They called mt the other day to tell me they are shipping them on the 8th. I am getting 30 of them all babies. Mixed colors. How do I get them to stay here and not wonder to far? What do I feed them while they are growing up and after wards (they will be free range 100% of the time after they get bigger) Anything I need to know that is diffrent from other polutry.

Here is what MissKitty and I did: Keep the keets in a pen for at least 3 months. After we moved them from the brooder we kept them in a pen in the chicken yard so they could see "home". We also kept them with our Jersey Giant chicks from day one so the two groups grew up together and still roam the farm together.

hope this helps....
