Joe made me a chicken plucker out of an old drill and some bungee cords. Really made butchering a lot easier.

Sounds interesting....We haven't butchered our chickens yet...I remember grandma a plucking them and what a smell after scalding their feathers...Any one skin their chickens? A lot of folks I know that do...MissKitty

No we like the skin on them. My kids fight over it. lol We do not eat al ot of chicken because we do not buy it at the store. This is the first year I have bought so many chickens sowe are going to try it.

They have a yahoo group that I am a member of that is where the video came from. I saw one at an organic farm down the road and have wanted one since then.
