Stain remover.........

Post by backtotheland on Thu Apr 23, 2015 9:30 am

I don't know if this should go here but here it is: 1 part blue dawn dish soap, 1 part baking soda and two parts peroxide. Put on stain and leave for at least an hour. Wash.

I made up some of this and put on my favorite sweatshirt which I had gotten oil on from leaning up against a tractor. I let it set overnight, washed the sweatshirt in the morning and it came out beautiful. I let mine sit overnight because the sweatshirt had set for a few days before I had enough clothes to do a load of laundry. I was really surprised and will definitely make more of this up.

Thanks for the recipe/tip, I'm sure I'll be trying it soon, I ALWAYS seem to stain my tops. Wink

So do I Patrice, and it always seems when I decide to wear a white top someone decides I should go out for dinner with something that has a red sauce on it.
