Heirloom Apple trees at Stark Bros

Post by 12acrehome on Mon Sep 22, 2014 4:27 am

I didn't realize Stark carried heirloom varieties, but I stumbled across some...

gonna have to add a couple of these for when the dwarf trees die out

That's where I ordered my trees from this year. I ordered the semi-dwarf Twenty Ounce apple, a Harglow apricot and a Santa Rosa plum.

The Twenty Ounce is an heirloom. Smile It'll be several years before I get any of them though. I would say I was lucky planting them this year, with all of the rain we got I don't think I had to water them but once or twice.
