I read Jaynee’s posting about COPD and the tea she makes… But I did not understand the amounts needed to make the tea. Some of these herbs do not grow here in Alaska. So I also need to find a source. Can some one help with amounts and sources?

"I treated him with a tea made of Mullein (an expectorant), Licorice Root, Thyme (an strong antibiotic), Plantago, Coltsfoot and Cayenne (an immune booster). I sweetened it with honey or Stevia. I also treated his sore throat with honey (1T) mixed with 1t cinnamon and 2 droppers of capsaicin tincture.''

I suffered a severe asthma episode on Palm Sunday and then went into respiratory arrest and had cardiac situation-in CCU for 7 days…

I did order the English Ivy supplement for my lungs.. My pulseox have gone down to 88 at times and my Peak flow [the air in my lungs] is 250-about 300 after a treatment [should be 500]. I stopped the Athrovent [and Advair] after I read that they were a cause of asthma related deaths..

If you find out the amounts and sources let me know…

Thanks a bunch

Sarah

Sarah,

Copy and paste this in the Alternative Medicine Forum. Jaynee will be glad to help. Also, Katrina stickied the directions to make tinctures in that forum.
