Hey there! This is CryptidGirl (or CG for short), mountainmama's oldest daughter. I accepted Christ as Savior at a young age, and have enjoyed studying His Word and creation science ever since. Since I'm a teenager, Mom doesn't want me to post my real name. I've always looked over my mom's shoulder and read everything on here, so I wanted to join, too! I'm a homeschooled girl that loves to study cryptozoology, as well as do karate. I like to learn about how people did things before they had all of the gadgets that we have today and learn what what plants are edible and/or have medicinal purposes. I'm looking forward to getting to know you all better and learning how to become self-sufficient.

Welcome! What kind of karate do you study? And, what kinds of animals are you hoping to find?

welcome CG, I hope we are up to answering your questions. Always glad to see younger people interested in the old ways.

Dizzy, I study Ko Sutemi Seiei Kan karate. I'm hoping to find the ropen (glowing pterosaur; my avatar) sometime, as well as other dinosaur-like cryptids. A group of Christian scientists are going to Papua New Guinea to find ropen next year, and I'm trying to talk Mom and Dad into letting me go with them.

Thanks for the warm welcome, everyone! Very Happy

Hi CG and welcome to our little family. I have a teenage son, just turned 15. He takes TaiKwonDo and loves it. I love your quote in your signature line and as others have said, it's refreshing to see a teenager interested in learning about homesteading. I think homeschooling and homesteading go hand in hand. I homeschool my son and I incorporate a lot of homesteading into it. Hope you are blessed by this site as I'm sure you'll be a blessing to all of us.
