72 killed in Boston...

Post by 12acrehome on Fri Jul 05, 2013 11:12 pm

Boston – National Guard units seeking to confiscate a cache of recently banned assault weapons were ambushed by elements of a Para-military extremist faction. Military and law enforcement sources estimate that 72 were killed and more than 200 injured before government forces were compelled to withdraw.

Speaking after the clash, Massachusetts Governor Thomas Gage declared that the extremist faction, which was made up of local citizens, has links to the radical right-wing tax protest movement.

I see some historic parallels

Things are heating up in the world. It's sad to see all that is happening, but not unexpected. When a nation turns their back on God then God will remove his protection. I believe we have been seeing that happen.

Kudos for reading the entire account. I agree with both your replies. Turning our backs to God and history is very foolish.

The scriptures tell us that there is nothing new under the sun. Every time a nation has gotten big and strong, they turn from God and end up being destroyed, or at least lose the power they once had. Every great nation has been through it. I don't imagine ours will be any different.

That scared me half to death. I have been expecting something like that to happen for some time now. Just like then, it would only take one town to set of a chain reaction today.

I hope more peolpe read this and realize why we need our freedoms.

God Bless,
Chad

The Revolutionary war was ugly, but it gave us our freedom. It's sad how far from the founding fathers ideas we have strayed.
