Posting Pictures
I am not sure if this is where to post this or not but if it isn't the administrators can feel free to move or delete it.
Here is how I post pictures:
1. Open an account on http://www.picturetrail.com or www.photobucket.com
2. Put pictures from your camera onto your computer.
3. Go to your picture trail or photobucket account and up-load the pictures you want to post into your PT account.
4. Go to your album and click on the picture you want to post and a box will pop up.
5. Click on "copy picture location".
6. Go to CH and the page you are working on and click on the picture frame then past the address in the box.
Your picture is posted.
You can open two windows at the same time - one with PT and one with CH and jump back and forth between the two and it works faster and better.
Hope I made this understandable. If you have any questions feel free to ask, and I'll try to answer.
I'm sure there are other ways that may be better, but this is what works for me.
Also before I upload from my computer I re-size my pictures to about 850 to 600 Pixels. I do this with Paint Brush program on my computer. If you don't do this your picture will appear too big to be seen properly.

Re: Posting Pictures
I signed up to PT. It was free. Now when I did the posting I Never could find the Copy location thing. It got me confused and I wondered if that is on a paid aspect of the PT? The good thing is I was able to finally do it. Thank you very much. Later today I will add the photos to the woodstove. If I am really good I will remover them from here.

I'm glad you were able to find how to copy from PT. I'm looking forward to seeing your pictures. [img][/img]
For those who might have a problem finding the "copy image location" spot, you have to hold your cursor over the picture and right click and a list of options will appear, click on "copy image location."

Re: Posting Pictures
I've never heard of the ilivid. The few pictures we've posted were on photobucket.
Re: Posting Pictures
Neither have I heard of ilivid. I post my pictures from Picture Trail.

Re: Posting Pictures
I use picture trail, never had any pop-ups related to any forum I frequent, including several "free" forums.
Re: Posting Pictures
this is wired, the way it came up for me was , I was looking at the top icons on this posting box. there is 2 little boxes i guess and clicked on it. and another time clicked on the tv thing and the other tv thing. and it came up. so I thought that is how folks hear, got there pictures on. anyway. the next day I had a email saying I completed my upload and my user name and pass word was such an such. it said I could post pictures and videos, etc. I thought that was weird because I don't remember applying for anything. and how did they get a pass word I would have never picked. any way, I thought ok. so I tried to upload some pictures. it went right to my files. I selected a picture opened it. and nothing. it said now host it. ???? i selected another. same thing. i got frustrated after about a hour. and went to turn my pc off. and there was all these icons on my desk top. freaked me out and deleted them. and today. when I went to come hear. my pc was all messed up. It is all fixable. but just wondering why that happened from hear. just buy clicking on the icons on top of this posting . box. well I did start a account on picture trail. and trying to figure that out. so thanks for your reply's.

Re: Posting Pictures
Go to the top of this page and find where it says "Home" "Portage" "Profile"
Click on "Profile".
Then click on "Avatar"
Then find where it says, "Enter the URL of the location containing the Avatar image, it will be copied to this site."
That is where your paste your image.
