Worth Waiting For Empty Worth Waiting For

Post by Mississippi Momma Tue Apr 19, 2011 11:09 am

Several years ago...I can't remember exactly how many years but around seven years...William's good friend, Robert brought me a Peony. I put it in the flower bed in the front yard. Each year it would come up but never bloomed. I'd thought several times about digging it up and putting it in the compost. Sure am glad I didn't do that....This year it has one bloom and one bud on it so far. It was well worth waiting for....I guess gardeners (both flowers and vegetables) have to have a lot of patience.

That is beautiful. Glad you didn't compost it. Smile

It's gorgeous! Glad you waited to see your reward. I have one the same color and a light pink one.
