seed tape at tSC

Post by amybyrd21 on Fri Mar 11, 2011 9:05 am

I was in Tractor Supply today and looking at the seeds. They have this paper like tape that has seeds in them. It is 15 ft long. You dig a trench and place the paper in the trench. Cover it and water it. They had carrots, beets, lettuce, and cucumbers. Has any one tried this? It loooked neat and I thought I would try the carrots. The carrots had 570 seeds in 15 feet.

Thank you so much. I think my kids and I will work on that this week. That sounds like a good project for them.
