Chocolate Raspberry Cookies

1 cup butter, softened
3/4 cup sugar
3/4 cup packed brown sugar
2 eggs
3/4 cup semisweet chocolate
chips, melted and cooled
1/2 cup raspberries, pureed
3 cups flour
3/4 tsp baking soda
3/4 tsp salt
1 cup vanilla chips

In a large bowl, cream the butter and the sugars until light and fluffy. Add the eggs, one at a time. Beat well after each addition. Beat in the melted chocolate and the raspberries. Combine the flour, baking soda, and the salt. Gradually add to the creamed mixture. Stir in the vanilla chips. Drop by teaspoonfuls 2 inches apart onto ungreased baking sheets. Bake at 375 F for 10-12 minutes or until the edges begin to brown. Remove to wire racks to cool. Makes 6 dozen
